The LCCI President said that that all over the world, fairs and exhibitions are considered to be the most effective tool of marketing and reaching out to potential customers. He said that Germany, France and many other countries are making best use of this tool. He said that fairs and exhibitions not only help attract foreign buyers and bring in much needed foreign exchange but also highlights the soft image of the country.
He said that exhibitions are also an excellent way to network with the international businesses and grow the export base. He said the Lahore Chamber is also organizing exhibitions on regular basis as "exhibition means business for the country" and leading companies of different countries take part in these events. "To grab huge foreign investments, we need to tell the world that large-scale economic changes in Pakistan have crated good opportunities. Macroeconomic stability can increase the competitiveness of Pakistani goods and services", he added. The LCCI chief said that prospects of growth are directly dependent on economic freedom and government's ability to provide favourable and transparent atmosphere for businesses. He said that an atmosphere conducive for businesses will also strengthen private sector and enable it to do more for the cause of economic stability of the country.
President Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry Amir Nauman said that taking part in exhibitions is not just an opportunity to improve the competitiveness of products; it can also make the manufacturer more competitive by optimizing business processes, expanding service range, increasing brand awareness and customer loyalty.
